In view of the participation of international entities in the project, especially the strategic foreign partner KU LEUVEN, the project consults its progress with its own International Academic Board (IAB), which serves as the main advisory body for the project’s management. The composition of the IAB’s membership reflects the main lines of the project’s research agenda, and the IAB includes renowned international experts, NGOs and industry representatives (as the chief users of the project’s research agenda), and academics from Charles University faculties and other public universities as well as from departments of the Czech Academy of Sciences. The IAB’s task primarily consists in coordinating and evaluating research activities, and recommending strategic adjustments of the research agenda if needed. Its role in the project’s risk management, i.e. in formulating corrective measures for the project management, is also essential.
