Workshop of authors contributing to a volume on the Danish literary critic Georg Brandes (1842–1927) tracing the use of Brandes’s ideas in local literary debates or his direct impact on particular authors. The contributions focus on cultural exchange between Brandes and men and women of letters outside Denmark, exposing the vivid networks of cultural acteurs in literature and politics in various national contexts
